Beamworksusa.com Western Red Cedar finishes are custom color blended and sealed with natural non VOC marine grade waterproofing product.  Colors will not change or fade over time.  We believe using color allows for a more uniform and consistent end product.  Rustic White Oak finishes are sealed with wax which not only protects the finish but enhances color and grain.  Finishes are also applied after wood box beams have been assembled.  This furthermore allows us to control color balance throughout the beam, achieving a more authentic look and feel.
